Our approach to charges

Everyone’s circumstances are different. Because of the nature and intensity of the support we provide, our service is not always accessible to everyone, and we do not operate a one-size-fits-all pricing model.

How charges work

Means tested, and based on your circumstances

  • Charges are means tested and based on individual circumstances
  • We take into account income, benefits, and essential living costs
  • Our priority is sustainability — for both the service and the individual

We make sure that

  • All accommodation costs are covered
  • All meals are provided
  • Essential bills are paid
  • Residents are left with weekly pocket money for personal use

We do not place people into accommodation that leaves them financially trapped

A charge that swallows everything is not sustainable, and it is not dignified. Whatever the arrangement, someone should still have money of their own each week.

Who should apply

If you are in receipt of benefits and eligible for housing and support

You are encouraged to ask a referring organisation to contact us on your behalf — a local authority, a support worker, a hospital team, or a probation officer.

All referrals are considered individually, and we are happy to have an initial conversation about suitability before any formal application is made. If you are not sure who could refer you, ring us and we will help you work it out.
